Changes in Trading Schedule Due to Presidential Election Runoff in Turkey

We kindly remind, that May 28, 2023 (Sunday), is a day of presidential election runoff in Turkey.

Like in the previous election day, we expect wider spreads in trading pairs that include Turkish Lira (TRY), as well as higher volatility between May 26, 2023, and May 30, 2023 (Friday-Tuesday), inclusive. As a result, trading in instruments that include TRY will be limited to the ‘close only’ mode.

These special trading conditions may be extended if volatility remains high. We also reserve the right to make corrections to the marginal trading specifications for pairs containing TRY based on the current market conditions. It is recommended to trade cautiously in case of low liquidity.
